Suzhou Worldful New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “WDF”) officially obtained the IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System Certification on February 9, 2025! The achievement of this international certification marks a new milestone for WDF in quality management in the automotive industry and adds another “hard-core credential” to the company’s global strategy.
IATF 16949:2016 Certification: The “Gold Standard” of the Global Automotive Industry
The IATF 16949:2016 standard is based on ISO 9001 and incorporates the technical specifications of the automotive industry. This standard places greater emphasis on defect prevention, reducing quality fluctuations and waste within the automotive parts supply chain. Its purpose is to provide standards for continuous improvement in automotive supply chain development, emphasize defect prevention, and reduce variation and waste, with clear industry relevance and applicability.
In recent years, with the continuous expansion of WDF’s business, customer requirements for the company’s quality management system have also continued to increase. At the same time, in order to further improve the company’s quality management capabilities, especially to meet the product quality management requirements of automotive customers, WDF actively carried out IATF 16949:2016 certification training and quality improvement activities, strengthening employees’ understanding and implementation of system requirements to ensure that products comply with standards and meet customer needs.
